Once it's ready, use two forks to shred the beef. (skip this step if you're using ground beef or beef alternative)
Take your cooked beef broth and dip both sides of each tortilla in it. This adds extra flavor and gives a crispy, golden finish when cooked. (skip this step if you're using ground beef or beef alternative)
For vegetarian quesadillas, skip this previous step or brush the tortillas with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of spices.
Heat a skillet on medium and add a little butter or oil.
Place one tortilla in the pan.
Sprinkle half the cheese on the tortilla, then add a generous layer of beef (or your beef alternative) and close your tortilla.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is crispy and golden. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
Serve with your favorite dips.
